Each spring at RIT we have Hyperspace projects. A collaborative project between the grade levels within the interior design major. Its typically a competition of a sort and whichever team gets picked gets their project concept to to actually be built. It's a week long project that ends with a poster and a presentation.

For the 2024 Hyperspace, the prompt was to create a space for students, designed by students, with the idea of mental health of college campuses. It was tasked to be a building or pavilion concept that could be placed on any campus. we did however target our towards the colder regions, getting inspiration from the local environment of Rochester NY. We supplied a cozy fire place and both socio-fugal and petal spaces for any type of discussion.
